Completely. The writers were incapable of having Clark choose not to be with Lois. It was only because of a plot device.
Have to say, love the "Justice League" engagement party and seeing all the heroes in action is pretty cool.
I think Lt. Gaeta is angry though. HE wanted to be the future Mrs. Clark Kent.
Basically. What I still have a heard time buying is that Doucheman moped over Lana endlessly for eight seasons, then all of a sudden Lois becomes THE ONE and he's madly in love with her?
It just doesn't feel like an organic growth of feelings between the characters.

I think he started to be secretly in love since season 4, so it still counts.
Seriously, Clark. Get a damn refrigerator that was made in the last 20 years. The Man of Steel loses some luster when I have to think of him defrosting the fridge once a month.
True. Still, I think what I'm driving at here is that he seemed to get over Lana awfully fast, given that he went right back to her when she appeared at the Doomsday Wedding in Season 8.
