So, is Avril's next album ever going to be released? Or is it vaporware?

Or has it been released already and I somehow missed the news?

Not that I’m exactly awaiting her next musical effort with bated breath. But I like Avril. She actually has talent. And she’s so friggin’ cute -- even when she wears so much black eyeliner that she looks like a goddamn raccoon.

Oh, and I like some of Pink’s stuff also.
 
There was this flavor of Pop Tarts they sold years ago - they don't make it anymore :mad: - which was, I think, raspberry filling with a *smooth* frosting. They have raspberry now, but it's got this weird kind of sprinkly stuff on it that's just not the same... :sigh:
 
Katy Perry is genuinely hot. The others range from OK (Lavigne, Swift) to no way (Gaga, Pink).

Music-wise, I don't really pay much attention to music so while I've definitely heard plenty by all of them, I can't be sure I'm distinguishing between them properly so can't really judge.
 
Gaga and Rhianna aren't bad musically. I think Avril Lavigne was OK. Ke$ha works well at places that serve lots of alcohol. Katy Perry has one, maybe two OK songs. I don't really know much about Taylor Swift.

That's about all I'm prepared to think about this topic.
 
I assumed this was about the toaster pastries, and was going to come in here to make a joke about slutty female pop singers. Then you ruined that joke by that being what the thread is actually about. So, in that case: Brown Sugar & Cinnamon.

So do I, but I think we're talking about more current singers here. Deborah Harry was pretty hot back in the ’80s, but now she’s 65 years old, for Christ’s sake.

In terms of both talent and sex appeal, Avril Lavigne is to Katy Perry as a Monet is to a painting of dogs playing poker.

Lady Gaga is my favourite here by a long way. I love her Fame Monster album and some of her earlier tracks are excellent too. She comes across as a cool, genuine person in interviews too; even if at times her 'subversive' media attention-grabbing gets tedious.

Rihanna and Pink have some decent songs but that's it. Taylor has some pretty tunes but needs room to develop as an artist, if she wants to be perceived as one. Kesha is a total non-entity (to me, anyway) and Katy Perry is simply awful.
 
I picked Katy Perry, Taylor Swift, and Kesha (one of two yay me!). I find Kesha's lyrics really funny. I do like Lady Ga Ga but not a huge fan.

Perry has more curves in the right places. But different strokes, and all that. Tell you what, you take Lavigne, I'll nick Perry.

My Led Zeppelin albums are probably gonna melt from shame, but I think Avril Lavigne is OK. Rihanna is insanely hot, and P!nk has a couple of fun songs. No opinion on the others (which means they are at best forgettable).
