My question was more about licensing issues than continuity.
Besides, the Luna class exists in both timelines as well. And Cryptic is already working on implementing the Vesta class.
Well, as a rule, Trek licensees borrowing from other licensees is a matter of choice on a case-by-case basis. We draw on those elements we find appealing or useful and disregard those that don't fit our needs. Kinda like how TOS Remastered used the Vanguard station design for the space station in "The Ultimate Computer" but made it half its intended size so it wouldn't overshadow the starships.
I'm sure that there will be some conceptual cross-pollination among the various Trek licensees, as there has been in the past. But it won't be mandatory. If one of the novelists decides the STO version of the
Enterprise-F is really cool, they may write something that incorporates that design. But if they have a story in mind that requires postulating an entirely different type of ship as the E-F, then they'll do that instead.
