Cowboys & Aliens, the first trailer is here.

So your opinion of Lost and nuTrek is low I take it? Those are crticially and fan loved projects. You're not selling a point here thus far on your in what you find :wtf: about Cowboys and Aliens. The names you mention for writing have a very solid track record the past 5-8 years. The two stars are very proven. Even Indy 4 and TF1&2 were monster successes. Only TF2 let me down out of those three.

Does look good, and Craig, Ford and Wilde in one movie, that's awesome. But Orci/Kurtzman/Lindelof and Favreau? Not really. :wtf:

So the stars of Firewall, The Invasion and Year One impress you more than the makers of Lost, Star Trek, Iron Man and Minority Report?!

Actors are dependant on the material that is provided by directors and writers. So... yes.

Fair enough - but what I'm suggesting is that Ford in particular and Craig to a certain extent have a knack for picking stinkers. I think the production/ direction crew have a much more impressive CV.

Oh my God! Did Harrison Ford just look...interesting in something? More importantly, did he just look interested? I haven't had a smile brought to my face by Ford in 15 fucking years...but Favreau got it out of the old guy. I am pumped now! Can't wait to see this...and Favreau is quickly becoming a director with a beeline to my top five.

So nice to see this after the "meh" feeling I got from the Green Lantern trailer.

First thing that sprung to mind when I saw the poster. I mean come on, he's CLEARLY wearing a Pip-Boy. :guffaw:

Looks like fun. Perhaps not enough to get me to the theater, but interest for sure. With all the premise and clout here you expect a lot.

Actors aren't dependent on saying YES to a project. They aren't just waiting around for someone to choose them, not at the level of Craig and Ford.

They have STACKS of scripts to choose from.

Just brings back bad memories of "Wild, Wild West."
Not at all.

Jonah Hex brought back memories of Wild Wild West.

This is Independence Day meets Pale Rider, totally different.
Alien Invasion in small town with a bad ass.
Not satirical overly stylized western.

I was already intrigued by this movie based on the premise and cast alone, but the trailer has sold it for me. It looks just as cool and fun as I expected. I can't wait to check it out. I only just wish they hadn't revealed the nature of the bracelet in the trailer.

The jump cuts to black in the trailer were wearying but it looks promising. Hopefully, it will be better than the Syfy movie High Plains Invaders. :)

I'll pretty much watch anything with that godess of a woman, Olivia Wilde.

Calling her a goddess diminishes her near flawless beauty. Goddesses stand by their lockers and snicker at and make catty comments about Olivia Wilde out of jealousy.
