What are your playlists?

We’re heading to Vegas this week. It’s a 6 hour drive from Fresno, so I want music at least part of the time. I finally got all 400+ cds loaded into the new computer (5672 songs), and had to come up with playlists. I figured I’d have some fun. What did you do for your playlists?

My only problem is listening to the songs I don’t know and figuring out where I want them. Many are my husband’s, and he doesn’t want to take the time to sort through things. But neither do I, so I guess those go nowhere until he decides and he’ll just have to put up with what I figured out.

I find that I can’t remember shit that matters--but song lyrics? I’m on an elliptical machine at the gym for 50 minutes a shot, listening to music the whole time, which has made me realize that I must have 1/3 of my brain cells devoted to memorized song lyrics! Aargh!

I don't have any named playlists, but I hope you have a great time here in Vegas. It's kind of chilly (wind chill of 36 when I went for my run yesterday morning), so bring something warm to wear. Highs in the 70s today, though. Have fun!

Also created an excel sheet to tell me useless information, what the total is for each album/band/year.

The only 'playlists' I actually use (apart from the ones containing actual albums or operas or OST's...) are three different x-mas playlists: one for 'background x-mas noises' one for 'holy x-mas noises' and one for 'sing-along-x-mas'songs'

I don't really do 'playlists.' Unless 'songs I like' counts as a playlist.
