^ That's very interesting to know. Were any other TREK authors known to have involvement with FASA in any way? In TNG's "The Defector", Ronald D. Moore used FASA nomenclature to describe the Romulan warbirds; I remember that.
I thought his best contribution was the short Klingon life span, used to explain their take everything now drive and attitude. I wish that had found its way into the shows, instead of the convenient "Klingons live forever" stories we ended up with so that old guest stars could return.
Not FASA, but Diane Duane wrote material for "The Kobayshi Alternative" computer game, and then re-used her unique aliens in the novel "Doctor's Orders". DC Fontana wrote material for the unreleased "Secret of Vulcan Fury".
