Raise your hand if you were trying to peak down Lois's dress there...

Maybe I should have been doing that. Instead, I was too distracted by why Lois changed into that amish outfit in the first place.

So we could see down her shirt, you're overthinking this. :)
You're probably right. But look at what we got... Lois was kidnapped, then somehow they got her out of her street clothes and into one of their outfits? It was just odd. And was her cleavage really visible? The amish have outfits like that? I know it's Smallville, but still...

Then again, it would be nice if amish women wore outfits with cleavage showing.

On TWOP, a poster explained how Clark can have sex with Lois without killing her.

In last season's episode escape (where Clark, Lois, Chloe, and Oliver went to the Bed and Breakfast) Chloe asked Clark about it and Clark said that his fortress training with Jor-El made him better able to control his powers. It was practically a throwaway line but it has been addressed.

Maybe Jor-El showed him his Last Tango in Paris scenes. ;)

Yes, I remember that line, and even mentioned that in the commentary thread when they said it, it was a direct response to how he can have sex without killing her, well as direct as they can get for a family show, heh.

I do find it funny though that he can control his powers, yet can't fly :p

You guys realize that now that you've put the idea out there it'll happen. GOD! And I thought we were rid of Lana forever!

That's what they want us to think.

Oh, sure. They want us all safe in cozy thinking Lana is gone. No more sappy pop music, no more sunsets in the barn, no more mopey, melodramatic, conversations. That can't be done! Lana is Green-K tainted! Oh we're all secure. Then there's this loophole.

Penultimate episode.

Mark my words.

"village of the damned"

They know what their basing this off

Not really. "Village of the Damned" is about telepathic alien children. This was more of a riff on "Children of the Corn"/"The Wicker Man"/"Harvest Home"/etc.

(And, for the record, I'm talking the real "Wicker Man", with Christopher Lee. Let's just pretend the Nic Cage version doesn't exist.)

Anyway, fun episode. Glad I saved it for Halloween. Spooky scarecrows, an evil cult, Clark rising from the grave . . . It fit in perfectly with all the old Hammer Films I've been watching.

Glad to see ya NX! :)

I kinda understand why KK & MR don't want to come back...but it sucks because it is the 10th & final season. :sigh:

I just watched it on DVR and I thought it was a really solid, standalone episode. Something that this series has never been really good at doing. A HUGE improvement over last week's episode.

Its nice to see the effects of the meteor show outside of Smallville. Too often the world of this show is so well.... small. With little sense of a world outside the melodrama of the current cast members.

Streamlining the cast this season has been a great benefit. Allowing for more strongly defined A and B plots. Like continuing tonight's with Tess and ALEXander, which I find very effective.

I'm liking this show more, and I've been pondering the blasphemous possibility that it's because of Chloe's absence.
