The Photoshop Thread, Part IV

^ I could have sworn I saw somebody do this earlier on... maybe check the older Photoshop threads.

Here's a recent joke variation on "changed clothes" for the famed TOS duo of Captain Kirk and Mr. Spock:

Something I thought would be funny.

I got the idea because I had kept seeing this poster around for the film when it was coming out and when it had Oscar buzz. In my head, without realizing I wasn't reading it right, I always thought of it as the Other Bolian Girl :P

Now that I've seen all these other awesome photshop jobs, I'm thinking the poster would be better with picard or riker photoshopped in where henry VIII is :)

it'd also look better with the Bolian median ridges added to their heads.

Agreed. I wanted to put them in, but my attempts at airbrushing were sh*t, so I thought it best to keep it simple. If anyone wants to add them, I'm all for it. I just don't have the photoshop/drawing skillz. :P

Terrific idea, VLS! I never saw this movie. But that poster is perfect for a good mod-job. I was inspired and had a little free time today:

I had thrown Riker in without much editing, and realized later that a little layer blending would help make the image match a bit more. Here's take #2:

^ Thanks, VLS--glad you enjoyed it. :) I wasn't sure if the "separator line" goes all the way down the body. None of the photos I've found on the Internet show a Bolian clothed with a low neck line. What do you think?

It's amazing what Photoshop can help you achieve... most of what I know came through learning from others on TBBS, figuring out what tools do what effects and how. Each image means more practice. This was a fun one to do. ;)

I did this one last year, but I've improved upon it a bit to try blending Burt into the scene better (graduated blurring and adjustment of shading).
