Let's not forget not having a clue what you're fucking talking about.

Oh, yes, that green username give you a lot of power, eh boy? Knowing that you can say whatever you want, flame whoever you want, and they can't touch you?

He can't, any more than any other poster can. In fact, for a mod it's worse, if one earns an infraction, it comes from T'Bonz, along with the attendant ass-chewing.

In the future, use the notify function for any post you think crosses the line rather than grinding your axe in public.

As a Philly fan, it is really tiresome to have to read the same stories of 'OMG Philly fans are classess' again and again and again, especially when we hardly hold the patent on bad fan behavior. Third time there's been a Philly bash fest in this thread. Just saying.

It's two pitchers that don't lose very often. I'm thinking a no decision might be likely for one or both (i.e., either whoever scores will be off a relief pitcher or there will be a close game and one team comes back to win by beating a relief pitcher).

That's pretty much how I see it. Cliff Lee has developed the reputation as a Yankees killer but Pettite's post season history speaks for itself.

It'll be fun to watch. Too bad I'm dog tired and will probably be asleep within an hour

That Craig sports reporter guy for TBS who always dresses like a lunatic is hilarious to watch. WTF?

Craig Sager. I don't know how this guy is still working, he's brutal.

Amen on the Philly bashing. Plenty of cities do the same shit, and Alidar is right that most people don't know the whole story behind ANY of the examples they always bring up.

Let's just all play nicely and let it go.

Props to the Giants for timely hitting in game one against the Phils. Cody Ross is a Phillie killer from his Fish days. Halladay could have been sharper, but so could Lincecum. The Phils were hitting him pretty hard and I felt that they were going to get to him the entire game. A misplay in the outfield by Ibanez ended up being the difference.

Game two...Little Roy picks up Big Roy, and (Good) Jimmy showed up. The Phillies have a poor record in San Francisco, always play like crap there, but they do hit Cain well, and Blanton is solid in the playoffs in his career, so I still feel pretty good going into the middle three.

And Cliff Lee is a golden playoff god.

It was 2-0 before someone decided it'd be fun to give up runs. Not that it'd really matter if it was 1-0; a loss is a loss and the Yankees failed to deliver this game.

That turned into an ass-whipping. 6 runs in the top of the 9th?

I can't remember, which team did the bankrupt Rangers beat out for Cliff Lee?

*looks it up on Wikipedia* The Yankees, it looks like.

*checks the score* GoodNIGHT! Blanking the Yanks with THAT kind of runaway?! That ought to be impossible!

Way to go, Lee! :techman:

Cody Ross is a Phillie killer from his Fish days.

Every one of his homeruns (and one out that was nearly a double) were all thrown in the exact same spot. I'm hoping Phillies pitchers have learned their lesson and won't pitch middle in to him next time. He tends to hit that pitch out ;)

That was brutal to watch, but I do find some solace in the possibility that Lee could still be a Yankee next year (he's a free agent after this is all over).

Plus, we got a few games to go. Don't start gloating yet, Yankee haters...

Freddy Sez has died... :( Linky

That is sad for him and his family, and the guy bleed pinstripes. But man it was annoying when he trotted through your section with that goddamned spoon.

I was flipping back and forth between MNF and Game 3. Went to bed at halftime/7th inning stretch. Looks like things got pretty one-sided after that.

I'd still rather see NYY-Philly in the Series. The other matchup is a team with one pitcher vs. a team that can't hit.
