Men Everywhere

oh God cant they give you an anesthetic or something ?!?
btw I might have to have an endoscopy done soon(tube inserted through the throat) & Im freaking out about it! Anyone ever had one of those done?
Pretty sure that they can't because that doesn't solve the problem, it just does the same thing other narcotics do and seize up your lower body.

And yeah I had a tube down my thorat trough my nose put in during the same stay before surgery when I was still awake (for some ungodly reason) and then removed at like ten in the morning after the surgery. One of the most disgusting and terrifying things I've been trough.

So, you know, good luck.

I dont think in my case they will put it through my nose, just straight through my throat, its being dome to explore my stomach & see what the heck is going on in there. Supposedly I can choose to be completely anesthetised during the procedure but Im a light sleeper & it would be the first time Id ever be put under. Im worried Ill wake up during the middle of it gagging! :wtf:

Having recently had major surgery and a catheter afterwards, I must say I just loved it.
No having to ring someone to bring a pan and then remove a pan, no having to struggle through pain to get out of bed....just easy breezy peeing. I loved it and talking with other women they loved them too.
It's the ultimate in laziness. I feel like peeing...............ahh.....

Relax. It's nothing. :)

I'm sure the doctors would give you a sufficient dosage so that you wouldn't wake up in the middle of it. I know I would choose to be anesthetized, I would definitely want to be completely zonked out during any kind of major medical procedure...

Relax. :)
Have faith in those doing the procedure.
They've heard your worries from many people and they know how to deal with it.
It's nothing at all like sleeping and you won't wake up.
