I think it was fairly clear that the turtle aliens (don't they look like shell-less sea turtles?) were pretty peaceful. They shot the guys with a stun setting, they didn't eat anybody, and they seemed more interested in dodging around Greer than shooting back. Honestly, they looked pretty tired and hungry, if the fainting turtle was any indication. My guess is that they will all crowd around Telford and give him a big turtle hug.
Telford will be back. This was the first episode where I really started to like him (at all). He handled Young very diplomatically (particularly the gentle prodding he gave him with the 'coach' dialogue). Telford showed utility with his ability to run the Ancient systems fairly well, also. They need, IMO, less of the 'wrong people' motif and a little more of the 'right people' on this show, and Telford is one of the right ones. I'm surprised, because I really thought they'd destroyed his character with his wife-boinking brainwashed hijinks.
I'm bored with those Lucian Alliance extras from the Hercules/Xena sets, and their black leather (oooooooooh! They're wearing black leather! They must be badass!) costumes. My eyes couldn't roll out of my head any harder.
TJ is boring me now that there's nothing going on with Young. I'm also annoyed that nobody is really mentioning Chloe's shot-through leg that healed itself instantly (her half-hearted, "it's all healed" comment hardly counts). That should be major fodder for gossip on the ship.
Once again, Wray has nothing to do except bitch and moan. I swear, Ford had more to do on Atlantis than Wray does. Greer and Eli continue to be under-utilized, particularly Eli. Three episodes after Eli essentially tells Chloe that - 'you know' - and they haven't even had a followup conversation. Maybe that's telling. He's pissed off that the instant she doesn't need him to lug her skinny ass around the ship, she's right back to boning Scott. Good for him. Hook Eli up with female computer tech from the control room or something. Anyone else. Good grief.
Oh yeah, I totally forgot Scott until just now. How telling that is.
