Not really. When you are involved with a woman that looks that good you tend to let some things slide. We were engaged in the early 90's and we broke up after I caught her telling one too many whoppers. Mom died of cancer and mysteriously got better. Sure. With modest interest she still owes me a lot of money, which would come in real handy about now.

Sounds like a friend of mine who always fell for girls who robbed him blind. Once literally - one of his girlfriends stole his car and gave it to the guy she was cheating on him with!

She may have robbed him, but how did she literally “rob him blind”? Literally robbing someone blind would be stealing a very nearsighted person's glasses.

I was disappointed with Zoe Saldana's look as Uhura... I was hoping they'd give her the look in this promo picture:

IMO, that look would have worked MUCH better, rather than the long-arse ponytail they gave her.

I agree! That is a much better and more classic look for the character. Well, I hope they go this route for the next movie!

I second that! Never liked the super high neck of her uniform. I lked the ponytail but I think she should have changed it once she became an officer. Maybe she will for the next movie.
Ponytails are fun. They give you something to grab onto. Just don't pull too hard or they might just come off. (Happened with my nu-Uhura lookalike).
