I'm still not sold on this new outfit yet, probably because I'm so pissed about the non-flight issue. I mean seriously, what is Kara going to think when she comes back only to find that her douchebag cousin STILL can't fly?

I liked that part too, one of the better laughs of the evening.

Cassidy Freeman looks so good week to week. If you have read the Hiatus thread I hope that spoiler about her isn't true. :(

I hope Kara turns Clark into a V.

I give this between an average and an above average. There's certainly some good stuff here. Tess in the Chloe role, Deadshot and the Suicide Squad, the final scene between Clark and Oliver, Michael Shanks, etc.

But it was marred by turning Cat Grant into a crappy character and the fact that Hawkman's only role in this episode was to be the latest character to pimp out Lois and Clark. Enough with the fucking anvils, we get it! They're going to be together! This is what they've reduced returning guest stars too? To pimp out Lois and Clark for the 80th time?!

They should just rename the damn show The Really, Really New Adventures of Lois & Clark.

Well one new aspect of the relationship they talked about in this episode is the reincarnation thing. This was also explored in Lois and Clark The New Adventures of Superman, in fact in that episode they ended up traveling back in time following the souls of Lois and Clark. Anyway, that was something new in this series about the relationship divulged.

Just finished watching it and thought it was good...two good episodes to start off the season. I loved the stuff between Carter and Lois in Egypt and the mention of "Superman" at the end. Cat was great because she was preppy and annoying, and hot I can see why Jet drools over her, Tess is hot again, I hate the red leather coat but it's a step in the right direction. My prediction is that we won't see Clark fly until the final three or so episodes as I've said before after his self doubt arc has concluded and puts aside his pride.

The markings make me think they belong to the Apokolips plot line and have nothing to do with the Suicide Squad, mostly because Carter was infected and the serving woman's eyes glowed. Nice to hear mention of Godfrey (his radio gig seems to be lifted from the 80's Legends storyline).

To be honest it is like 4 seasons too late...he should have been wearing it in S6.

The red leather jacket actually makes me think Clark should be wearing his Legion ring.

Yep, when he dropped the plane ticket, they should have pulled the camera back, revealed the flags, then he should have put one arm with a closed fist into the air, and flown off that darned building, it was the perfect setup.

^ I'll agree with this...refusing to have him fly at this point is just plain silly. So now is Clark the Red blur?
