Sorry, I realize my last post in the other thread kinda broke the rule I suggested...:)
Anyways, I'm gonna write a conversation between Perjon and Quark. We'll see how it goes. Oh and I like both ideas about Ezri's fate...not sure how they can be reconciled though. Oh well, we'll figure it out I'm sure.

^Well, if we ever do explain it,
I was relfecting on her and Julian dying together--probably going down in a space battle, or something. I was thinking something slightly along the lines of the "birth" scene in the new film...just she dies, too.

Something romantic, with a "Romeo/Juliet, they-die-together" feel, sans the suicides. Already weakened by the immense strain of the battle affecting the Aventine--and the labor--she basically senses Julian's death...and her heart stops. We see her giving a tight hold on the daughter, as if aware of the troubles the girl would face as an orphan...but then, it's over.

These specifics kinda conflict with other, "Prime-Universe" plans I have in mind for her. Still...I'd say it works nicely here.

(Now that I think of it...if we were to do this, perhaps I would split an episode with someone else...and we'd deal with the NewDax and the child....)

interesting idea. we need drama, i say!
what child btw?

oh and i wrote this incredibly dramatic and emotion filled scene with julian, ezri and their daughter just before he dies. we maybe able to implement certain aspects of it. (if i'm able to translate it into english and keep the drama from being lost in translation...)

As I said, I'd prefer a daughter. I dunno...but

somehow, the idea of the girl being their first child appeals to me. See...I have long been toying with the concept of Ezri having a disability where she is unable to bear children--something she's had all her life. Thus, this would be a most emotional time, for her. Tech would have advanced enough so that Julian would be able to provide a "cure", or some other reason that gave her this opportunity. This, of course, adds to the tragedy....

Okay! Let's look at it in the fanfic thread, and let's check it out. Worst case...perhaps I could take the elements and put them into my concept....:)
