A Mystery Ship.

Hi, I'm new to the Forums so this is going to be crude.

I've only skimmed this forum so sorry if it's been talked about but it's driving me mad.

A few years ago a friend of mine showed me a side-view of a ship that I didn't pay much attention to, but now I'm interested in it and neither of us can remember anything about it except a vague mental picture. Google has been absolutely no help whatsoever and just sends me to concepts photo's of vessels that have nothing to do with it.

In one of the episodes (later in the series I think) there was a constitution styled class ship in the ENT era but with NX nacelles, hull and colour.

I wanted to know if any of you have seen this ship.

Thank you for taking the time to respond, but unfortunately no it's not Enterprise J.

The one I'm talking about has almost identical shape to a constitution class (or more commonly known as TOS enterprise) but has the same hull, nacelles and colour as the NX-01. It featured in the background of one of the episodes but I can't remember which one.

There hasn't been a ship like that on screen AFAIK. (There have been several fan created models around though, some of them very good.)

Are you perhaps referring to the NX upgrade concept? There are pictures of this ship in the art forum and I believe there is one thread about it. Maybe also mentioned in the ships of the line calendar thread. I'll try to find them.

Sorry, but there was no such ship with that description in ENTERPRISE. I do remember seeing a kitbash of NX parts in a TOS-Enterprise configuration on the internet somewhere, but it was just a fan-made thing. Perhaps that's what you and your friend saw.

Could it be the Gabriel Koerner Enterprise fan art?

There are a few other ships depicted in the ENT episode "The Expanse" in battle with a Klingon ship. Two different ships that have NX style nacelles and a bit more of an undercarriage then the Enterprise... seems they are the closest you described in your hazy recollection.

Thanks guys but after an extensive google search I found it.

It wasn't in the episodes, I might have just stuck it there in my mind and forgot about it.

But nonetheless, the images you sent in were cool so it wasn't a total waste.
