Boiler men never do... what is it with certain professions and stereotypes...

He was a really nice guy, but quite 'well rounded' and positively beamed when I asked to take his photo to put on the net. He even started posing with the boiler ~ which is when I put the camera down

Here, I'll help you by starting the soundtrack:

Bom chicka wow wow...

Years ago I was living in a rooming house and there was a crazy lady in the room below mine as well. One night at 2 or 3 in the morning I'm awakened from a sound sleep by her pounding on her ceiling with a broom handle and yelling at me to keep it down.

We had a crazy bitch of an upstairs neighbor (also building manager) who decided to jump off her bed--repeatedly--onto the floor, shaking everything. At 2 am until 4 am. She quieted when we had the cops over, then went back at it.

I told the owner I would have the police there everyday, or that I'd tell her he (the owner) told me to permanently take care of her.

Why in the world was she doing that? Was she trying to punish you for something? Killing cockroaches?

 Ok then... Bob slowly undressed Bunty the boiler, taking off her outside layers. He gently caressed the interior and a smile spread over his face. He looked closer and sniffed, his nostrils flared. A frown came upon his face, "I think I know what's wrong" Bob declared. "Her fan has gone!"

So we rushed to the nearest fan shop and got a beautiful chinese paper one which cheered Bunty the Boiler up no end and she happily started heating water for us and making us all warm and cosy again. Bob the Boiler man re-arranged Bunty's attire and strode off into the distance to the soundtrack of a spaghetti western, just pausing to look back, nod and re-arrange his tool belt.

And that's exactly how it happened! True!

That would make a great illustrated kid's book, I nominated tsq to do the artwork.

Soon to be a major motion picture from Pixar.
