Also, the gal in the car looks vaguely familiar, like I have seen her in a dream somewhere before or something.

aside from the size, i love those cars. i can barely fit in the thing but they're fun to drive though.
about the chick. seems familiar to me too, either she was in the movie i watched last nigh or someone who looks awfully like her.

my friend has one. a -65 i believe, orange. hate the color but the car is lovely.

She's Ellen Page, from Hard Candy, X-Men: The Last Stand, Juno, and Inception amongst others.

It's a great looking car, but unfortunately you have to be the size of Ellen Page in order to look cool in it. I'm 6'6", so I'd look like a Shriner in that thing.

My brother in law has one in his garage, next to his other "classic" an 82 Camero with crossfire injection. Neither run and both have needed massive engine and interior work since being parked there in mid 90's. I know him and know he will never do a thing to either.

I've thought about offering him $500 for the MG and giving it to my 14-year-old to see if he can get it running for a first car.

I restored it and made the necessary mods to make it dependable and its a blast, plus I always get a smile from women in other cars when they see it. I painted it with a special metallic paint from California, called Nuclear Yellow.

My father in law and I in the car. He is a pretty big fellow and we fit just fine. There is plenty of room in the car. Most people don't realize how far the footwells go up inside.

A lady I used to work for some years ago had a white MG Midget that she let me drive on occasion. Loads of fun, but in traffic you feel naked in that thing. It's two seats, four wheels and an engine. I don't know what model year it was, but it had no synchromesh on first gear. That's when I learned about double-clutching.
