I tend not to use cloth napkins, unless it's a special occasion, owing to the fact a hate laundering them, and then of course you have to iron them to get those nice folds. That is one housewifely duty too far for me.![]()
I don't use fabric napkins either unless it's a dinner party. I don't mind ironing them when I do use them, though. I'm obviously not as fastidious as you: I don't iron them into folds. I just iron them flat and then fold them. I hope the pre-dinner drinks will have distracted anyone from noticing my half-assed housewifery!

I can just about machine sew rectangles and squares. Seriously, my machine sewing skills are pretty basic, but I love my machine nonetheless. It makes me feel all domestic-y, probably because the rest of my housekeeping doesn't.
