Three DC Universe animated movies announced at Comic-Con for 2011

Here's the cover for the DC Showcase compilation release anchored by Superman/Shazam! The Return of Black Adam. The collective running time of the shorts is 62 minutes (22 minutes for Superman/Shazam and extended cuts of The Spectre, Jonah Hex, and Green Arrow). The Blu-ray release includes commentaries from the producers and writers. The compilation will be released on the 9th November.

Well, given that the word "short/s" appears three times on the cover, I don't think that many people will be taken by surprise.

^I think what you're suggesting is that one shouldn't overestimate the common person. I agree there are sure to be some people illiterate or unobservant enough to fail to understand what they're getting. But for one thing, I disagree that it will be 90 percent of the audience, since we're talking largely about comics readers, who are by definition literate; and for another, even if some people fail to understand what they're buying, that's their own fault, not Warner Bros.', because the cover copy makes it emphatically clear that its contents are short films. So those buyers would have no grounds to be angry at anyone but themselves.
