finding two of things that you were never able to find when you needed them?
Hubby has work gloves still in the original packaging ... in this closet ... and in this closet ... and in this closet. He could never find them when he needed them because he never wanted to organize our stuff. Mr. Control-Freak!
I'm doing a clean-up and keep running across this kind of thing. Gloves, respirators, drop cloths, etc.
Somebody please tell me we're not the only ones with mulitples!

I'm an expert at losing tape measures. I'm a needlecrafter and I must have more than a dozen of the little buggers lying around the house, but I can never find one when I need one (because putting new ones in the sewing basket or craft cupboard would be, y'know, logical. Can't have that). So I'm forever buying new ones, and losing them again. 1000 years from now some xenoarchaeology students are going to be digging where my house once stood and wonder about the cultural and religious significance of those hundreds of little plastic rolls with the numbers on them that they keep finding. Hopefully they won't figure out that I'm simply a messy airhead.
