I haven't been on in EONS, I thought I'd Share a Giggle with you! lol

Hello Fellow, Trekkies! (btw, I'd like to know how many of you prefer Trekkie or Trekker. I personally don't like the "Trekker" term, but it does slip out of my mouth from time to time. haha) Anyway, I was on eBay looking for a Star Trek tote bag and I found this seller that sold them... except... the image on the bag is a PHOTOSHOPPED picture, and a fan altered themselves in... haha absolutely HILARIOUS. And they're selling watches, and handbags with this picture! There is a bald man in the corner, which, I'm pretty sure shouldn't be there. I could be wrong. lol Some people were actually buying these things, too! It had me laughing for hours!

I wonder who that guy is? It looks like whoever made it covered up Chekov -- bizarre?

Now I wonder -- who bought it??

That's simply hilarious. I laughed for a few moments, myself.

By the way, I tend to prefer Trekkie, although I don't really put much thought into it since I have rather diverse taste. Trek just happens to be one of many things which float my proverbial boat. I don't care as much for Trekker simply because it seems to denote the always-dressed-up, everything-else-is-trash stigma. I'm sure that's not necessarily what it originated as, but etymology has a tendency to give way to evolving definition.

And I don't have anything against those sorts of people, but they're not me, so if I'm to be called something, it might as well be a bit closer to the truth that is me.

I'd like to know the same answer myself! lol I mean, you have to be a fanatic to either want a watch or totebag with the image... and you wouldn't notice that? It was probably as a gift for someone... disappointing present! Haha.

I noticed that, too, but then I thought, what was the point of altering the rest of the images? But I guess the manipulator had his own idea. lol. I wonder if he knows he's on watches and totebags across the world. Granted, only dozen or so have been sold (from what I read from feedback) It was such a gas! lol

I thought I was the only one that thought that!haha I sort of think "Trekker" has a negative connotation. I don't know why, but it irks me. lol. But very well said, my friend!

It's something you could have done at Star Trek:The Experience. I found the exact same shot I had saved from somewhere else on my computer that had someone totally different but with the ST:TE logo on it and the same Photoshopped & processed TOS characters.
