Last week was the halfway mark. There are only five episodes to go this season (after tonight)!

Sookie goes to extremes in her attempt to save Bill; Sam infiltrates a dog-fighting ring; Jason tries to uncover the truth about Crystal; Summer makes a play for Hoyt's affections; Debbie vows revenge on Alcide; Eric tries to get information.

Could be interesting. What am I saying? It's almost always interesting, now that Mary Ann is gone!

Holy moley! From Lorena getting the stake, then the Magistrar losing his head and Bill mowing down on Sookie-the season is definatley the most gruesome!

Yep. At first, I was beyond thrilled to have Claudine finally show up again, but man ... what a disappointing way to go about it. The Claudine we know is ... not like what's shown in the series. We'll see how it goes.

Rusty and Can'tAct got married. Alrighty. Ok, Eric, you can stake him already.

Bill feeding on Hadley? That came out of nowhere. And now I'm curious how this season is going to end, because it's SO different from the books.

Just having Claudine there, though, is an immediate five stars.

Perhaps I wasn't in the best frame of mind but I thought the whole Sookie dream sequence was incredibly cheesy. Lorena is finally dead though, hooray!

Great episode! :bolian:

I don't like that it looks like Sookie gets mad with Bill about that, she knows he couldn't help it. I mean, give me a break. But, I guess it's that time of the season, they have to have some kind of conflict.

Eric is gonna tear that king limb from limb...

I got all horny when Summer said "And I really want you to taste my biscuits"

That was hilarious.

Eric is gonna tear that king limb from limb...
I certainly hope so! Because...

1) A vamp whose plan is to take over everything and make everyone his bitches is doomed to fail.
2) It's personal...

They're definitely dangling that carrot in front of us, that's for sure. But they've also shown how damn fast the king is on two occasions, so cleverness is required...

Exactly. Which is probably why Eric is practically licking his ass...he's biding his time and no doubt has a plan.

Bill didn't feed on Hadley, Eric did, as a means of getting information from the Queen.

Is it just me or has the series become a lot more gorey than the seasons before?
During the first few episodes I wasn't sure whether the story lines would be any good but now I'm hooked. They've got a lot to resolve. And it will be very bloody, I assume. ;)
I couldn't remember Claudine. When have we seen her before?

Pilot episode, hard to spot, but in the scene when Sookie is going after the Ratts, who are trying to drain Bill. She's in the woods, blink and miss her. Sadly, there's a new actress playing her, so there goes that bit of continuity. :(

Bill nearly killed her. She would have died if she were fully human. Of course Sookie's going to be afraid. He's never done that before. She doesn't know for sure that he couldn't help it. He was doing a mind fuck on her telling her he'd fucked Lorena and all that, then Lorena attacks her....and Sookie is stressed.

Oh yeah, Eric's definitely biding his time so he can rip Russell a new one when the time is right. Not an easy task. Russell swatted Bill away like a fly. Of course Eric's got 8 centuries on Bill. Then again, Russell is older than Godric if he was telling the truth. How the hell did that worthless inept Sophie Ann get to be queen if Eric is older than her? She's useless and Evan Rachel Wood is so unconvincing in the part she takes me out of every scene she's in.

Sam....you are the man. My alpha hiding in a beta's persona. You rescue baby brother and all the innocent pit bulls. My hero. :) Love me some Sam Merlotte. My dog is part pit bull. She looks like the pit bull Sam morphed into. She's as sweet, too. I heart Sam.

Alcide's all right, but does he really do anything but stand around and look pretty? Just like Jason?

love love Sam! (Though when he told Joe Lee to take of his clothes I was like SAM NO! not the dirty skivvies again, GAH!!!) :guffaw:

but Ive read some future ep synopsis'(sp?) that have me a bit worried. I just hope AB doesnt do something contrived with the character just for some cheap drama. :vulcan:

the dream sequence reminded me of that TNG ep where they go to that hippy happy planet.

Ah, thanks. Too bad about the discontinuity between actresses, though. And Mutenroshi, you might want to put that into spoiler tags. This hasn't been revealed in the TV series.

I liked the dream garden scene. It was a bit cheesy but that's fine for something in a dream. And I liked the glowing drink.

^ It really is about time they went somewhere with the Sookie Is Different! thing. I assume it's a major thing in the books. Anyhoo - the occasional (usually nasty) person looking at her in wonderment and saying "What ARE you?!?" is wearing a little thin. Get on with it, already!

:D
