Preview video for DC's Young Justice animated series

If it is the Amazon Artemis, that could explain why they're not using Wonder Girl. Two regulars from the Wonder Woman/Amazon mythos would be a little redundant.

Curious that they're not using Wonder Girl. But its possible she'll show up later.

They probably couldn't decide which one to use.. Donna or Cassie.

Which is interesting in and of itself.

Since this is Earth-16, you've now got "Dick Grayson & Connor Kent" instead of "Tim Drake & Connor Kent" No Bart Allen, and instead Wally West...

Connor is out of time in this universe by a number of years it seems... unless there's more than one clone.

Greg Wisemen should get Gargoyles back (in any form) but until he does, this is shaping up nicely.

You know... now that I think about it...

What's the likely hood of Disney/Marvel restarting Gargoyles post merger and putting Wisemen in charge again? I mean, not that he's working for "The Other Team" and all.

Does working for DC automatically preclude the possibility of working for Marvel at the same time? (especially if one's a TV show and the other's a comic?)

Well, Weisman went from Marvel's Spectacular Spider-Man to DC/Warner's Young Justice with no interval, so I don't think there's any strong dividing line there.

Not sure if this article has been brought to the thread's attention since I've skipped most of it but it has some of the voice cast announced including a 16 member Justice League team. I'm glad to see Bruce Greenwood is returning to voice Batman and it will seem that the League will have reoccurring roles as mentors to Young Justice which obviously makes sense.

Are you getting confused with earth 16 as it says nothing about a 16 member JLA.
From the article:

The series takes place within the 50 DC Multiverses, specifically Earth-16, at an early stage in DC Continuity.

Sixteen of the regular Justice League members will appear, with Bruce Greenwood voicing Batman, Phil LaMarr voicing Aquaman, Alan Tudyk as Green Arrow, and Rob Lowe as Captain Marvel.
The voice casting has been mentioned earlier in the thread.

The Young Justice and Brave and the Bold Podcast for those interested. The YJ bits are at the end.
-Miss Martian is 48 (16 in Martians years) and J'onn's niece so probably not a White Martian.
-Superboy is 16 weeks
-Artemis is not Wonder Girl, an amazon, Speey or Arrowette.
-Tempest and Aqualad are separate characters.

Why would they? The sales for the second dvd were bad. And Weisman isn't a valued member at Marvel Animation as they were willing to toss him under the bus with the rest of the show. Plus he and Disney parted on bad terms.

I have to say I really like some of those character designs. Much better than and far more restrained than what they came up with for 'The Batman' a couple years back. Miss Martian is an instant favourite for me; I love the hooded cloak look they gave her and only with I'd thought of it first. In fact I may yet steal it! ;)

Superboy is 16 weeks...this made me laugh and then had to check myself when I thought okay interesting. 16 weeks out of the clone tank. I think Conner is going to be the most interesting character out of the bunch. Miss Martian is intriguing to me, I've been catching up on my "Teen Titans" trades.

16 martian years only equals about 30 earth years. So someone's math is wrong. Either that or in the DC universe Mars has a much larger orbit.

So she's not literally 16 Martian years old, she's just the developmental equivalent of a 16-year-old human?

For what it's worth, 48 Earth years would be 25.52 Martian years.

Could Artemis be Artemis Crock, the daughter of the Sportsmaster and the orignal Tigress/Huntress?
