One of my favorite motivational posters. If I ever had my own business I'd have this right on the door next to a gold plaque reading "Kill all the lawyers."

Just FYI, but that's a dolphin, not a shark. It has a horizontal tailfin instead of the vertical tailfin of sharks, and there's no second dorsal fin. Plus, dolphins love to play inside the waves like that.

The fins aren't a completely reliable indicator, as Dr. Evil sometimes surgically alters his sharks so they can sneak up closer before unleashing their laser beams.

Actually he did it right, he flew it to just before impact and then ejected, he didn't hit any spectators.

Here is the link to the rest of the sequence if anyone is interested.

I just watched the video online. The Candian pilot was trying to execute a slow pass at a high angle of attack and suffered wing drop, which occurs when one wing stalls while the other doesn't. This was a problem on the F-18E prototypes and can occur and almost any aircraft in the right conditions, but all F-18's suffer from it to some degress.

The usual fix for a swept wing aircraft is to add a dog-tooth. A dog tooth is created by extending the outer wing leading edge forward past the inner wing leading edge and is used on the F-18A/C, F-18E/F, and most obviously on the F-4 Phantom. It creates a vortex that helps to seperate the inner wing flow from the outer wing flow while helping to maintain an attached, turbulent flow over the outer wing.

I suspect the pilot got hit in a crosswind or other local phenomenon, probably related to a thermal generated by the warm runway, and it threw his safe airspeed alculations out the window, and him out the cockpit.

It looks more like the penguin in front has just shoved the falling penguin over, and is now saying, with spiteful focus: "bet you wish you'd let me have the last fish now, eh?!" And the penguin behind him has grabbed him and is saying "my god, what have you done?!" :)
