LeBron James: Malignant Narcissism

It's not that enough people really *are* interested in what LeBron thinks or where he plays. The media outlets blow that out of proportion. They tell us that we must care about it - whether or not we actually do.

Nope - if people didn't show an interest, this wouldn't happen. Blaming it on the media is just a way of pretending that people are less silly than we are.

The media goes where the ratings are at. If they ratings went up when they covered LeBron of course they'd begin to cover it more and more. The fault lies with the people who watch this drivel ad naseum. They ruin it for those who don;t give a rat's ass.

Who the hell cares where LeBron goes next? And even for those who do, why does this guy have to take AN HOUR on ESPN to explain it? It's not THAT important. This guy is so full of himself it's unbelievable...

The media attention to this story has been beyond absurd, I mean highly so. I listen to the news on the radio on my way into work every morning, Thursday and Friday last weekend my entire ten-minute drive to work was just filled with report/discussion with an expert on the situation and James. I only got the traffic/weather "on the nines" at the end of my trip but during the trip no report on news, events around the city, country or world. Just what the fuck LeBron James' next career move is.

Priorties are fucked up.

The camera whore racist pipes up once again. Here's Jesse Jackson on LeBron James and the Cavaliers owner:

"He speaks as an owner of LeBron and not the owner of the Cleveland Cavaliers. His feelings of betrayal personify a slave master mentality. He sees LeBron as a runaway slave. This is an owner employee relationship — between business partners — and LeBron honored his contract."

And I thought LeBron was an attention whore.

Why does the American media insist on dragging Jesse Jackson out every time a black person ties his shoes?

Why do white people insist on slagging those individuals who are proven leaders in the Afro-American community?

Ever since he was 14, LeBron has had people telling him that he's the next Great One. They were calling him King James before he turned 20. Teenagers are self-involved enough as it is, without all that crap. It's hardly surprising that he grew up believing the hype. I wonder what headlines we'll be seeing next?

After Dinner At Mexican Restaurant, LeBron James Calls Press Conference To Describe Enormous Dump He Just Took

Now that I'd pay to watch!

It would probably be a slam-dump!

From this white person's prospective, Barack Obama is a proven leader preaching inclusiveness between everyone. Jesse Jackson is a leader, whom whenever he talks, is criticizing us for still thinking it's the 1800's.

You do the math.
