Canadian Football League 2010: Anyone care?

What team do you want to see hoist the Grey Cup?

Watching the Bombers/Argos game right now and came looking for a CFL thread. Cool. :techman:

We just came back from the Argos leading 16-0 to a 17-17 at the half. Two touchdowns and a field goal. Way to go Bombers!

However, the Boatmen pulled it off! :techman:

Somehow.

Thunder Bay should have a team. :)

(2006 census population 109,140) :bolian:

Hell of a comeback by the Argos tonight. Down 24-13, but they come back on a touchdown in the last minute of the game. And we have a winning record for a change! :D :techman:

I care, but since CTV/TSN grabbed the broadcast rights I haven't been able to watch a game since they don't stream them online... and I'm not paying cable to watch CFL games unfortunately.

I'm guessing the Argos still suck?

If the games are broadcast on CTV, you can still see it on Free TV over an antenna (which is great, especially if you've got a HDTV set, and an HDTV antenna.)

And no, the Argo don't suck anymore-not since Pinball Clemons came on the scene and gave us in Toronto two back to back Grey Cups!

They didn't even put the Grey Cup on the main channel, so yeah, it's a TSN property for the most part.

And really, the Argos haven't been all that great in the last four years or so... funny enough, they're the best team in the city now though.

Cripes.:wtf:

To be fair, that's typical CTV. They don't even put their Stanley Cup playoff games on the main network, but regulate them to TSN instead. This in spite of the fact that the CBC always cleans up in the ratings when it comes to the playoffs...

I think their Olympic coverage showed how bad CTV was. The only benefit to come out of it was Chris Cuthbert calling the Gold Medal Men's Hockey Game.

'Course, this was neatly balanced by having to hear Jamie Campbell call Alex Bilodeau's gold medal... :barf:

And having to listen to Jay Onrait and James Duthie on the update shows.

It's been so long that I don't even know the personalities anymore. I'll say though - the Olympic Blu-Rays are fairly crap. I got caught up in the hype and I spent 80 dollars on 5 discs of fail.

I enjoyed the Olympics and being a hockey fan, it's hard not to get worked up over it. But I would never spend money on the DVD's.

I'm surprised the Argos are 2-1. I was really skeptical about Barker as coach, Rita continuing as GM, and Cleo Lemon as our QB. Glad I was wrong.

Didn't South Park air an episode in which every team in the CFL was called the "Rough Riders"?

Anyway: Saskatchewan all the way, baby! Rider Pride! :techman:

So, anyone going to be tuning in to the Braley Bowl tonight? Be interesting to see if the Argos can keep it up.

I'll give the Argos a chance simply on the fact that it's BC's quarterback's first CFL start and who knows what could happen.

You know, I was starting to believe that the Bombers would find a way to blow a 23-0 lead, but I'm glad I was proven wrong.

;)

I think the Argos game against Montreal is a pivotal game.

Maybe I'd take them seriously if they win or at least make it close.
