I preordered the fantastic Lost: The Complete Collection box set from Amazon. I hope I can wait that long for it to arrive.

I also ordered two more collections of Alex Raymond Flash Gordon comic strips. Awesome! There are seven volumes and I have every intention of getting them all before they go completely out-of-print. (I already missed Volume 3. Ebay anyone?)

So what am I in for here? I've never read these books before. Are they cool?

I liked them for the most part, but let us know what you think!

One other question...possibly a silly one:

I know that DT crosses over with a huge portion of King's other works. You don't have to read all of those crossovers to understand what's going on, do you? Is it enough to read the 'core' DW novels?

^ I only have the first two seasons and I plan on giving either giving them to a friend or selling them at the local used dvd store. But I am so glad I never got around to buying the rest of the seasons because that set is just nifty!

I spent too much money on yet another textbook. Saved a lot by not going through our official bookstore, but still. Research Methods better be pretty exciting!

I bought a hand sander, sanding paper ( coarse and medium), dust masks and a tin of clear gloss wood floor varnish. Time to revamp the kitchen floor.

Booked my plane tickets for my annual break in Mauritius for next January. Got a stellar deal too.
