About 20-30 years after VOY Icheb is captain of the USS (Suggest a name.). Naomi Wildman is his first officer. The Doctor's program is kept and ran on the ship. Miral Paris is part of the crew too.

Jal Culluh with his son go to the Alpha Quadrant to avenge Seska's death with the help of Suspiria. That's all I can think of for now. It's been a year since I've seen VOY...

Agreed but it looks like they would need more than just Suspirya, I mean the Kazon's are relatively weak Technologically and we've seen how much firepower Admiral Janeway brought in Endgame...

Well thanks for telling the truth. Let's try to develop this plot. Start by choosing which kid should be the main character of the story, possibly assign a position too.

(Um, just don't hook him up with Naomi, please. The I/N stuff squicks me out; kind of incestuous and creepy. They're not in the DQ anymore, there are lots of other people around, people they didn't grow up with as near-siblings. Sorry ... fanfic pet peeve.)

I always thought that Naomi was cute, too! It seems like people complain about her a lot, but I don't understand why. It was a good idea to have a kid on the show.

I must beg to differ at least on one account - the Dragonlance books with everyone's kids were actually quite good. A lot of them became popular characters in their own right.

But that's another fandom entirely.

I have an idea, instead of Culluh and his son going to the Alpha quadrant, how about Seska's brother going to the Delta Quadrant to retreive his last living realtive?

I always felt like Culluh is dead because he couldn't hang onto Voyager, all that lost face would have put him in a position to be assassinated for his position.

Reading thru thread » there sure are lot of different takes on this notion. There's already one fanfic running with Icheb as a main protagonist . . . doesn't mean there isn't room for more tho. Why not write this up a bit. See how it grabs people as a Fic ?

Let me give an idea of mine I just thought of just a moment ago.

15 years after the events of Think Tank, The Viidians have been working hard to rebuild their old republic and stabilize the region Voyager travelled through during the first two seasons. The Kazon have been driven to near extniction (because they kept on resisting the "stabilization" of the region). A Kazon warship is on the run from the Viidian patrol, when it runs into the Barzan wormhole.

Driven to deseperation, the Cardassian/Kazon hybrid Captain orders his helm officer to take the ship into the wormhole. Meanwhile, deep inside the Alpha Quadrant, the Yarmouth under command of Captain Nog with Commander Icheb as his first officer, is exploring an collapsed interstellar empire when they encounter the Barzan Wormhole. The Kazon ship exits....

Yeah.
Don't get me wrong, I kinda dig the idea of all the Voyager kids serving together later in life, but I also realize how incredibly unlikely that would be and that beginning the show with that much leveraged fate will spell its doom.

The good news is, the broader the franchise becomes the more plausible such stuff can become, if a bit reined in.
For instance, there is no reason why Icheb's couldn't be serving on a ship or station where Jake Sisko also worked.

And a show set a generation ahead might have a kid named Bashir serving with a child of Seven of Nine. But each tie in you add increases the strain on the credibility, and eventually it will snap.

So the idea of them all together is tacky.. who cares if the series was really good? Characters we already know a backstory for, great plots and drama, no reason it wouldn't work. I know I would like to see what happens to both Icheb and Naomi.

Certainly all the kids together isn't any more silly than the TOS films with everyone fatter, greyer and still together.
