WTF Rockies?!?!

A 15 inning walk-off scarafice by Helton on Sunday.
A 9 run bottom of the 9th last night to beat the Cardinals
Just now a walk off homerun by Chris Ianetta.

This has been a fun July so far...

First NL team to 50 wins and 2 out of three in Philly!

One series loss over a two month span. I finally have something to look forward to after the all star break.

Trade Molina, and Buster Posey had arrived. 4-4, 2 HRs with one of them a Grand Slam, and a walk. Awesome game from him tonight, and one of the easiest wins you'd ever see for Lincecum.

I'd like to see them swinging the bats a bit better earlier in the game, but there's been no lack of drama and excitement lately.

That was a damn fun game to watch. I knew when I met Buster back in the pre-season that he'd be big. Today and the last 2 days have been some sweet revenge on the Brewers and ol' Princess Fielder for that ridiculous showboating display the last time we faced them in '09.

Just to put to rest one rumor: The fan that fell off the deck at the Rangers game on Tuesday was NOT DRUNK. (And is apparently going to be okay. :techman: )

Pity the Giants play at a place like AT&T

Pity?

What I mean is it's so hard to hit home runs out of AT&T and Posey hasn't done it yet. After playing in Miller for the last few days, I don't think they want to leave.

Oh. Right. Got it. ;)

I mean I'm sitting here thinking, pity? Supposed to be one of the best parks in the majors, innit? I'm sure Flux would agree. :)

Although I cannot stop laughing whenever I see the Yahoo! ad near center-left field (next to the distance marker). Just try and guess why. :guffaw:

I'm still holding on to the belief that it was intentional. :)

Fox Sports

They can't be blamed for losing Game 1 of the supposed "statement series" against the undermanned Phillies, as Roy Halladay is fairly proficient at the enterprise of pitching. But the other two matchups don't look favorable: Jurrjens vs. Hamels tonight and Medlen vs. Moyer on Wednesday. The last thing the Braves need to do right now is breathe life back into the staggering Phils ... Starting outfields in recent games have included Hinske/Blanco/Cabrera and Infante/Blanco/Cabrera. That's not a minor-league trio, much less a big-boy one. Bite the bullet already and complete a deal for Josh Willingham ..

Yeah... eat that.

For a fan of a team that won the division for basically ten years, you're surprisingly bitter about the handful of times the Phils have won.

EDIT: Phillies won in extras. Not great, but a win is a win.

So looks like Cliff Lee to the Yankees. Ah...why? This seems like a pointless deal to me. They would have got him in the offseason anyway.
