Going To Get Circumnavigated!

Nardpuncher

Rear Admiral
On Wednesday I'll be flying to Scotland from Taiwan (where I live now). The plane flies over Asia and Europe.
I'm originally from Canada, and have been to Scotland before, flying over the Atlantic.
I came to Taiwan by flying over the Pacific.

So when I arrive in Glasgow on Thursday I'll have flown around the world in my lifetime.
I think that's neat and will celebrate with a nice glass of whiskey...which I would've had anyway!

I don't think it counts if it doesn't involve any navigating on your part.

"How hard can it possibly be? Forward!"

Really?
Well forget it then. I'm so embarrassed. Mods close this!

Unless someone in the Royal Geographic Society would like to come along and help me navigate my seat.

I have no idea what's going on here so I'm just going to declare victory and move on.

You're probably old enough to decide to do that.

Abby Sunderland wanted to circumnavigate herself. And her
parents supported her!

That's WHACK.

I think it's a Harry Harrison novel that has someone answering an exam question by writing about circumcising the planet because they don't like to take short-cuts.

I'm very impressed by your circumnavigation, but if you're wanting to celebrate in Glasgow I'd suggest whisky rather than whiskey :p

mr trampledamage has been from Ireland to Japan and back and then from Ireland to Canada and back, but I don't know if that gets him all the way around. I've only managed trans-Atlantic.

Pretty close! There's still time to close that gap!

I'm sorry about getting th whiskey/whisky mixed up!
