Non-Canon Trek pairings

What non-canon pairings do people like? Slash or het. Just curious.

Here's mine:
TOS: Kirk/Spock, Spock/Saavik
VOY: Doctor/Seven
DS9: Garak/Bashir

ENT: Reed/T'Pol
TOS: Spock/Uhura (even though I didn't like how they did it in ST09!)
DS9: Sisko/Kira

Define "non-canon pairing". Does it encompass every couple that didn't get together? Quite a few of those mentioned have been brought up in canon: The Doctor was in love with Seven, Reed had a crush on T'Pol, Spock and Saavik had sex during Pon-Farr, etc.

Non-Canon means a couple that either never gets together or doesn't get together without some kind of outside interference - Saavik has sex with teenage Spock's mindless body, but that doesn't really count as a canon pairing. Chapel/Spock is also a non-canon pairing because they never get together (except in that one cartoon episode with Harry Mudd's love potion), although Christine sure would have liked to!

If two characters get together but then don't stay together for some reason (Trip and T'Pol) it's still Canon.

I would classify Doctor/Seven as non-canon because it's a one-sided deal in the seris - Seven doesn't express interest in the Doctor, although he loves her. T'pol and Reed would be non-canon because even if he liked her, they never willingly kissed or dated or slept together.

Saavik has sex with teenage Spock's mindless body, but that doesn't really count as a canon pairing.
Have to nitpick here. He wasn't 'mindless'. If he were mindless, he'd be dead. He just had a mind of a newborn baby, since he was just a couple of days old. (Which makes it all rather creepy.)

DS9: Bashir/Jadzia. I was a romantic with my own unrequited crush back when DS9 aired, so I constantly rooted for him.

VOY: Janeway/Seven. I doubt it would've occurred to me, but I read an extended series of fanfic devoted to the two that made it plausible. (Not quite "slash" fanfic, it lacked the emphasis on sex.)

Don't know whether these fit the criteria or not, but they are mine:

Gary Mitchel/Elizabeth Dehner
Kirk/Spock
Riker/Ro

I'm sure there will be others that occur to me later.

I'm normally bored with this kind of thing but The Doctor/Seven was so obvious and to a lesser extent, Janeway/Chakotay. ONLY Star Trek could come up with Chakotay/Seven. Are you kidding me!? Dennis Leary/Queen of England wouldn't be any more ridiculous!

I never liked Chakotay/Seven either. It was forced and out of the blue. Chakotay and Janeway had real chemistry and could have worked together. Chakotay was the ultimate "supporting" character, and he fit in well with Janeway's confidence and natural leadership.

"Someone to Watch Over Me" is one of the best Voyager episodes. Robert Picardo is one of the finest actors on that show, and the Doctor and Seven and two of Voyager's best characters. I really wish that the two of them had either ended up together, or that the series had ended with some kind of hope or suggestion that they were headed that way.
