Complete score released

I've listened to it three times since I got it and it's brilliant. It really is quite astonishing how much better it is from the original release...you don't have to suffer through the repeating main theme and get a sense of what Michael was going for. Great stuff.

Were you one of the participants in the movie's commentary track?

The Admiral likes it, what can I say? So do I. :)

The score may not be a Horner or Goldsmith, but it's a good, fun score with a lot of heart and character.

I personally enjoy it as much as Trek's I, II, III and V.

It is "Better"? Not really. But then again the score reflects the movie, a very different take on Star Trek.

It is, however, one of my favorite scores, and for me personally, up there with TWOK or Trek V.

Thanks. I ran into some financial snags three weeks ago when I said I was going to buy this, but finally just did. It's also sold out at Intrada now too. I went with ScreenArchives. They take PayPal. ScreenArchives was slightly cheaper than MovieMusic.com.

Coooooool :-D

I heard about this the other day from a trekkie mate of mine.

Sounds cool, i was a little disapointed in the OST last year as, like said, some of the best tracks and cues were not included. Especially the opening track to the movie and the scene where Spock Prime meets Kirk in the ice cave and the scene where they both meet Scotty and beam to the Enterprise , very subtle but good to listen to in the movie, just a shame they didnt include them on the disc.

Its a shame i didnt get in quick enough :-(

Unless anyone knows of anywhere i can get one or a certain clone ;-)
