What one thing draws you the most to Captain Janeway?

 

I never liked her satin night gown. I did like the terry cloth bathrobe.

Also, I like her voice.

 

I have voted.

Too bad I can't vote for the nightgown AND the phaser rifle..

 

There should have been an option for "everything but..." where we could fill in the blank.

So, you know, I'd say something like, "Everything but her fixation on that Indian guy."

 

OK, I voted for "refusal to quit", but could I throw in a write-in vote for the way she balanced the obligations of her command with more sociability and a personal concern for those serving under her? That's a combination we hadn't really seen since Kirk.

I voted for her refusal to quit, though her compassion for and protectiveness of her crew are also a big pull for me. She's definitely my favourite captain, though I'd happily serve under Sisko as well.

 

Difficult to choose my favourite thing about her. I do love rifle wielding Janeway, especially if she's had to strip down to her vest too. I like the way she talks and her body language, if I were an evil delta quadrant alien I wouldn't mess with Voyager. Her willingness to break the prime directive is fun too. I did like nighty wearing Janeway but I preferred Tux wearing Janeway.

Voted for her refusal to never quit. I suppose thats the motto for life, if you fail keep trying till you succeed. But there's another reason why i took liking to janeway.I looked up to her as a role model when i was kid. I think thats the reason why i got in to Voyager

i concur completely with this assessment. she seemed the most "down to earth" of all the trek captains.

 

For me, it was between "eyes" and the option I wish had been on there: the way she says "Do it." Cooler than "Battlestations," IMO.

Seriously, though, I think she borrowed her eyes from an anime character. They also seem to glow in the dark.

Blue/grey... depends on the lighting. Though, she was asked what color her eyes were at a conn once, and she insists they are blue.
