Wowza. SO much going on here, from the introduction of LaFayette's boyfriend (oh, you just KNOW those two are getting together) to Sammy's bad brother, Tara's new vamp "friend" and LaFayette's mommy ...

Ok, well the next part ... is very different. There's a huge departure between the books and series, since a plot from book 5 just showed up to say "hello there" in this episode. Since they may just be doing this for set up, the way they did with Claudine, I'll drop it (for now).

Great to see Godric again. Can't have enough flashbacks with him in it. Pleasently surprised to see Claude a little early, but I guess they're trying to come up with a more compelling reason for

I've started to realize how much of a soap opera this show is but hey watching just one isn't too bad, is it? They definitely keep layering and layering and bringing things in, we're only a couple episodes in but so far I'm liking this more than the whole Mary Ann deal which didn't grab me too much. With the werewolves now I guess this is my "Twilight", LOL.

The avoidance of showing man meat is getting kind of funny with all the guys laying around twisted up all the time. We might be reaching Austin Powers proportions before this series is over. It's too bad only Anna seems to be willing to show the goods of the main actresses.

And Snoop Dogg singing "Oh, Sookie"? Oh, my...I wonder what the thought process behind that was, seems really out of left field.

This is just my theory, based on what we saw in the episode ... It was Tara's vampire. No, I don't remember his name (if he even gave one). We know because of his boots that he's the one who broke into Bill's place. He went through and ransacked the place, finding a file with pictures and information on Sookie, while Jessica was out getting the chainsaw.

That could have been when he took the body. I think he took it, because the boots were shown in close-up in the scene in Bill's, and later after he met Tara at Sam's bar. And why else would they make such a big deal about showing a close-up of boots?

It doesn't work that way in the Sookieverse. She would have to give him some of her blood, while he's still alive. That's the important part. Once he's already dead, she can give him as much blood as she wants, it won't matter, because it's too late.

hmm yeah thats true, for some reason i thought that was Sookie's house and that was the biker werewolf dude, since Tara's vampire hadn't been appeared yet. I guess he wouldn't need to be invited to go into Bill's house, makes sense.

I believe she has appeared multiple times. And some people seem to be mixing up the pilot with the first episode and looking in the wrong place.
