I'm excited and would love to see the Valeyard and I've only read up on him too...I just really like the concept of him and what he represents.
yeah im not happy I read that either. Even if its not really a bit surprise. Why the hell did you say that? Why didn't you put that in a spoiler warning? The spoilers for this thread are for "The Pandorica Opens," not "The Big Bang."
anyways when ive previously been worried about Doctor Who not being shown next week, ive herad a Radio 2 promo for Doctor Who giving time & day, so I would be amazed if it was not on TV as scheulded.
Say what you will about Davies's "fanwank," was there ever a Davies episode that featured Daleks, Cybermen, Autons, Sontarans, Sycorax, Silurians, and... Weevils!?Tonight's ep struck me as a divergence from previous finales. RTD's finales seemed to be set-up as "See how much fanwank I can pile on!" whereas this one was, "See how the whole season was tied together!"![]()
Not to mention namedropping at least three classic Who races.
Drahvins, Draconians and Zygons.
Yes, they constructed a scenario from Amy's memories, but it seems as though everything hinges on Vincent putting the coordinates in the painting to start with. If not for the painting, would The Doctor have gone at all?
Am I being really thick, again? I would not be surprised if I am, TBH.![]()
* Hmmm, so the Silurians do have space travel. I'm guessing the ones here are from the 31st century.
Ah, that's what had slipped my ever-decaying mind. Cool. Thanks! The Doctor mentioned that Stonehenge was a giant transmitter, sending out "The Pandorica is opening here and now" throughout time and space. He (correctly) assumed that Vincent's psychic sensitivity and familiarity with the Doctor let him pick up on it. If Vincent hadn't picked up on it, sooner or later, someone else would've, and the message would've found it's way back to the Doctor.
What if the Doctor is stuck in the box a long time and finally regenerates to his 13th regeneration and becomes evil so finally he is the one to cause this.
Something. The way the Doctor ignored the crack when he saw it on his screeen in the first episode. Could be something inside him. Was it a Tardis that landed outside Amy's house?
Or either it's a non-Dalek style Davros.
By the way, did anyone think they were referencing Captain Jack when they talked about the guy whoes wrist they cut off? Looked like the same bar we saw him in last time.

I didn't feel that it was Jack, there are probably lots of Time Agents in that period.
After playing it back... I know the voice. Just can't put my finger on who. I'll admit it sounds like Davros but it was more human than that. More like Emperor Palpatine.
