Trekmovie just reported 84 (out of 98) episodes of Enterprise is on CBS.com streaming in 1080p. That is advertising-supported (free)!
woo hoo!
(videos in USA ONLY!) you have been warned.

The episodes are not in sequential order.
it is also in sub-"Full HD" quality and in standard definition if you don't have a great data connection.

It's good enough for now until the ENT series comes out on Blu-ray.

Were you wondering how the show looked in HD and never had HDNET? Now you see the first Trek series produced for high definition TV in HD.

Great, I guess. Now let 'em put 'em on Netflix, so as to avoid the commercials...

I don't think the commercials were that bad actually. I kept getting only one that played during the breaks. Gave me :30 to take a look at another browser window...

It looks pretty good. I just got done watching Terra Prime. Though I have to say that I don't get the weird order of the episodes. I think I'd be pretty confused if I was a new viewer.

CBS Hearts the iPad, Tests HTML5 Video
By Marc Flores on Thursday, June 17th, 2010 at 12:09 PM PST In Apple, Content, Multimedia, iOS / iPhone OS, iPad

According to mocoNews.net, who had a brief chat with Soohoo, CBS is testing its HTML5 video capabilities with Star Trek: Enterprise and making sure it's up to par with Flash delivery:

What you see right now is a small, little experiment, Soohoo explained, with Star Trek: Enterprise as an "ideal" subject, in part because of its fan base and because CBS owns it.

May I ask how fast your internet connection is? I tried the full HD stream-which requires 3.5 mbs, (I'm on an 'up to 6.0' tier), and it was choppy, with lots of studdering, forcing me to go down to the next lower res HD stream.

Just checked out a couple minuetes of 'Bounty' Episode 25 in 1080p via cable modem.
Very jerky at 4PM EST. I tried stopping, pausing, playing and it was okay for a few seconds after I unplaused it.

AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 4200+
via Ethernet to cable modem not sure of internet speed.
