The 11 Doctors Action Figure Set

Only when business on present day Earth warranted it, Delgado's iconic look was the Nehru jacket.
That SDCC Ainley is actually Kamelion-as-the-Master from Planet of Fire - I'd guess a velvet suit Ainley will then follow solo.

True that. But he wore it a lot more often than a couple of scenes in one story.

£50? Sheesh, that's over $73!

For 11 figures, yes. By comparison, the average Doctor figures are going for 20 bucks each - 40 in the dual packs, more with a Tardis. Here, you get 11 for 73 bucks. That's downright cheap for these figures.

Jesus. When I was a kid, Batman action figures would cost maybe $15 at the most.

Exactly. $73 is less than 7 bucks a piece. How is that a bad deal?

It's not; I just can't imagine being willing to spend that much money on a set of action figures.

I've spent more than twice that on a single action figure. Granted, it was far higher quality than this, but still. The Doctors set is practically a steal in my eyes.

I'm not really a toy aficionado, but all the same, the absolute most that I would ever be willing to spend on a box set of action figures like this is $30.

(But, then, you're talking to the guy who still hasn't bought Series Four of Doctor Who on DVD because the price on the second-hand markets isn't low enough.)

Big Bad Toy Store is listing it for $99.99, for whatever that's worth. Mike's Comics will certainly have it for considerably lower, of course.

BBTS's prices tend to change before release, anyways. Ever since the Hot Toys DX Joker fiasco, they've started pricing high on pre-orders and lowering later when official pricing details are released.

The price isn't bad, but I already went through a lot of trouble tracking down the previous Doctor figures and don't want to have to spend another $100 just to complete the collection.

So they'd BETTER freakin release the 8th Doc individually at some point. lol

One thing nobody's mentioned about the "Planet of Fire" Doctor/Master set is that throughout almost all of that story, Davison is sans jacket and has his shirtsleeves rolled up (and I don't think he's wearing the hat either).

So they'd BETTER freakin release the 8th Doc individually at some point. lol
Here-here! He's the one I'm most eager to add to my collection, which would leave only 2 & 3 later.

PS: And is it just me, or are the thread time stamps still out of whack? No matter what time zone I put myself in, I'm still an hour behind the correct time at the bottom of the page.

Yeah I've had that problem for awhile too. My so-called "pacific time" is one hour behind. lol

I believe it has to do with the different times daylight savings time comes into effect in different places. Eventually they'll all sync up and the clocks will be right again. Or we'll go back to standard time, and the clocks will be right again.

I was actually hoping that the Eighth would get his own release at this years SDCC. Instead, it seems like it may just be in the 11 Doctors set.

As for the time zone... I'm sure things will get back to normal after June 26th once this whole crack thingy is resolved.
