The 11 Doctors Action Figure Set

isnt that packaging going to look silly when it does not have a home for future Doctors?

Maybe its just me, but when I see a boxset of a TV series which has yet to finish, it annonys me, if I was to buy the often well styled boxset, the effect its going to be ruined by my having to get future series, and sit those next to it.

I am amazed anybody buys a James Bond boxset.

That is why you should free your action figures from their plastic prisons!
take them out of the box?

Yeah ive heard alot of people saying exactly that

Exactly! Didn't everyone get the message of Toy Story?

:D See, fans of Six understand these things. :bolian:

Feel the power.

I'm confused here... is wamdue waiting until the day he dies to buy this and a James Bond boxset, just in case?

I've decided to buy two of these sets. One for opening to display individually and one to keep mint in box to .... ummm .... display. :)

I've decided the same. Though I've no clue what I'll do with the 10 Doctors already on display. And I'm still wondering if the Eighth will be released individually.

My collection is getting seriously out of hand. I think I'm going to be selling off some of it.

Uh-huh...after getting the Third Doctor, I decided to not buy anymore Docs until this 11 Doctor-set came out...

till the End of Time itself, that way I can sure that no more new Doctors will be cast, or no more new Bond movies made.

In reality when I do buy boxsets they are of seasons, that way it looks better than say my Firefly boxset & my serenity DVD.

It isnt in my collection, but a real good example is the Sex in the City boxset, ive seen some well themed boxsets of the TV series, but now they have made two movies, that boxsets is going to have 2 DVDs slumped up next to it, ruining the theming of the TV series boxset.

On the plus side it now appears to be safe to buy a Spiderman trilogy DVD boxset, unless the new series of films does a "Crisis of Two Spidermen" where both the movie Spidermen feature.

^Yeah, but why would you want Spider-Man 3?
fair enough, but it seems a shame not to complete the collection. Lets face I could probaly get a Spiderman trilogy DVD, cheaper than I could the first two movies invidually. In all fairness it is unlikely a future sequel will see Toby Maguires Spiderman being involved.

I blame Kellogs for this, I was one of those kids who collected the coupons and had all the parts of offered collection.

maybe it's that they're using the 10 regeneration set body for 9 this time. Not exactly accurate, as Eccleston and Tennant have very different builds, but better articulation.
I imagine they just used the 9th Doctor body from his single card release a few years ago and possibly a new headsculpt, but I can't really see it.

The head sculpt on the Ninth does seem a bit different but I don't see the point. The "Father's Day" SDCC figure was quite good in my view. Really, there just aren't many variants you can make for the Ninth beyond changing the colour of his jumper.

As for the Eleventh Doctor, I wish it had been the blue shirt/bow tie in the set. The red one is what's been released worldwide and, as far as I know, the blue is only available in the UK.

Sure there is ...... :)

Also these items have popped up on eBay from a seller in China. They look like the real deal and could be the SDCC exclusives:
