I found this forum by googling by brother's name and a post by aridas sofia was returned. In the post aridas mentions knowing Allen. I'm Allen's sister, and would like to hear from aridas sofia, but can not leave a private message due to having just joined. I'd like to hear from anyone that knew my brother. Thanks.

Allen never had an online name as he died in 1989. The post on this forum was about blueprints he had created. His company was Starcraft Productions.

I knew your brother through several telephone conversations and letters. He contributed some artwork during the early-mid 1980s to a fan publication of mine. Naturally much of what we discussed in those pre-Internet days was related to Star Trek, but we did talk about the Navy. We both had an interest in the Navy and had several conversations about why he was thinking of joining, and why I had finally decided against accepting an ROTC scholarship.
I would be happy to discuss this with you, though given the state of my aging memory I'm not sure how much more there will be to tell. I think that a good friend of mine, Todd Guenther, might have corresponded with Allen as well. So there may be something more to glean from him.
The best thing for you to do is post your inquiry on my forum devoted to the publication to which Allen contributed several of his illustrations. I'll contact Todd and let him know about your request for information and we'll see what we can find. Sound good?
