I'm melting!

Well if you think that 34 C is hot.

last summer in Australia it was getting up to 47C and bloody hell that was hot weather

Depends on where you are here in Australia. I think the maximum for Newcastle was around 43C or so.

I am enjoying the weather at the moment. It doesn't like winter, even if it is a week away. It is still t-shirt weather here.

Also, the OP sounds like my flatmate (he hated summer)

It was 55F/13C here today. I know I'm going to regret this sometime in July or August but I could do with it being a little warmer.

I hate summer.

I would hibernate from the end of April to the beginning of September if I could.

I don't tolerate heat well at all. It's easier to deal with really cold weather than really hot weather. To me, 25 C is hot. It's a good thing that I live in Finland, but in summer, it can unfortunately get as hot as 30 C.

All this converting from celsius isn't worth it. I'll take you people's word for it that it's hot.

It's not too warm here in Norway yet, but I'm hoping for a hot summer.

I made a promise to myself that no matter how hot it gets, I won't complain. This is because I've been complaining all winter about how cold it was, and I wouldn't want to be a hypocrite

They keep promising us a hot summer in Cornwall.

Every year they say it has to be time, we haven't had one for ages, and every year we have 2 hot days in May and then it's cloudy and raining for the rest of the year. And we just had 2 hot days :(

3 years ago Adelaide South Australia set a new temprature record in March - we had 3 weeks of +40c day time temps and the nights didn't drop much below 30 degrees.

So when people ask me how I find Canadian winters I tell them I prefer the -20 over the +30 and higher.

But the prediction for Ontario is it's gonna be a long hot summer.

Except for the relatively moderate humidity, we're having a temporary taste of Summer in the mid-Atlantic, but unfortunately it isn't going to last, as temps return to the 70' and 80's tomorrow. Didn't have to put the AC in the window until the end of June last year, hopefully won't have to do so for a couple more weeks at this rate.

Right now it's about 93 with 50% humidity. Just the way I like it. :)

I love the heat! I`m like a lizard I work better the hotter I`am!

Hate cold cannot cope with cold.

When I go to sleep, it needs to be as freezing as possible! This is a desirable state of my room. I do not mind if it is hot outside as long as there is relief indoors.

OMGWTFBBQ it's five degrees cooler today--but it feels even hotter and more humid than yesterday. :brickwall:

I wish those thunderstorms would hurry up.

^ and if you have someone in your bed?

I have never shared a bed with someone more than a night or two so this has never really come up. But in the event that I do, I make my cold preferences known and/or compromise. If environmental controls are offline or not available, I just deal with it.
