ENTER: TV & Media Avatar Contest - Memorable Finales

It's that time of year again: the TV season is winding down, and several shows have closed up shop forever. Some have literally been a staple on television for decades (Law & Order), some changed the face of the medium for the twenty-first century (Lost, 24), some were one-season wonders (Flashforward), and some probably should've been one-season wonders (Heroes).

This contest is about the television series finales that (for better or worse) left a strong impression on you. Whether you loved it or hated it, post an image of it here. Usual avatar rules apply, and since this is the general TV & Media forum, I'm going to say no sci-fi/fantasy entries (I have a feeling the thread would be inundated with them otherwise). Poll will probably go up late Thursday.

Have fun! :techman:

I'm going in a slightly different direction with this one. Probably one of the most disappointing finales ever, but I think it's still left quite an impression on people for that very reason. Thankfully, Larry David redeemed himself on Curb with his Seinfeld reunion.

Perhaps the first-ever planned series finale in American TV history, the two-part climax of "Route 66", aired March 1964. Martin Milner and Barbara Eden tie the knot.

Probably. I can think of few series finales that were such rail-splitters as Angel's intentional cliffhanger finale.
