How do you celebrate it?

This year I'm airing my Che Guevara towel (that I bought in Daytona Beach )

Frankly, I never heard of International Towel Day before. I'm waiting for International Talk Like a Pirate Day. Now, there's a real holiday!

I only ever celebrated International Towel Day once, the first one two weeks after Douglas Adam's death.

I walked through the city centre carrying my towel. No-one paid me much attention but eventually a young man who was also carrying a towel came up to me and asked me if I was carrying the towel to honour DA. I said yes, and he invited to have a coffee with him. We spent an hour having a wonderful conversation about digital watches, mice, dolphins, petunias etc. Then we said goodbye and I never saw him again.
