Does anyone know where I might be able to find a costume for one of the following: either the alternate uniform picard wears in season five(with the jacket), the star trek bomber jacket used in the second movie or the star trek field jacket used in the same movie?

I've been looking all over but can't find anything so any help would be much appreciated.

    Thanks

The bomber jacket wasn't seen until the third film. It was worn there by both Scotty and Admiral Morrow.

Many, many moons ago, I purchased the Troi dress pattern featured on that site, and without a doubt, it was the most poorly-drafted pattern I've ever had the misfortune to work with. I did manage to make the dress, but not without screaming, cursing, weeping, teeth-grinding and a complete re-draft of that pattern. That said, hopefully the uniform patterns are better drafted; if not, maybe one of the Star Trek Halloween costume patterns made by Simplicity or Butterick could suffice for a basic sloper for your jacket.

I've never actually tried out one of their patterns, but that makes me sad to hear. I thought about picking up the DS9/Voy pattern, but maybe I'll check Simplicity. Their patterns are always good to follow.

^ I would advise that; foolish me, I also bought the Bajoran uniform pattern from them, and had an only slightly-less frustrating time making that costume. I *will* say, however, both costumes did finally turn out looking good, but the time and effort involved would be off-putting to all but the most devoted/insane costumer. Needless to say, I don't do any more costuming....

I actually recently ordered a pattern from roddenberry.com(i think that's the site). It's should arrive in about a week and they have a money back guarantee in case it turns out to be a poor pattern.

    thanks guys
