Yes...its a total reboot. With KONO being made a girl, (Boomer from nuBSG) and she is also CHIN HO's (Sung from Lost) cousin.

Yes..agreed. I think, well I know, its all going to come down to this new actor playing McGarrett. Anyone who watched that show, and liked it, knows that McGarrett wasn't your ordinary 'friendly' dude. He had attitude and he had suave down pat.

IMO one of FLASHFOWARDS most glaring issue was, IMO again, the wrong casting of the lead character; mark. McGarrett must be done right or it will be just another cop show...and it will suck.

That's a shame. Kind of funny that Grace Park has a sex change two series in a row; maybe she'll play Sulu in nuTrek II.

JACK LORD and WILLIAM SHATNER are my two favorite actors..Strange how both of them were rumored to have large egos on the sets of their two shows. As for who's better? I never answer that directly, but just say this..I don't think Shatner could have played the role of McGarrett, and I think Jack Lord was too stiff to play Kirk....

I'm very sorry to see this; it seems nothing like Five-O. I'd been very hopeful for the new series but, seeing this, really wish they'd called the series something else. It doesn't even use the same concept the original did.

I'd always enjoyed Five-O, but have become very familiar with it recently since my sister started watching the series on DVD. It's really one of the best shows ever produced.
