Seems Woody has discovered democracy's dirty little secret. Nobody actually wants to live in one.
No, just that a Democracy ends up with weak minded people who want someone (someone elevated to god like status) to bail their butts out because of the poor decisions they made in thier lives.
Much like a kid who moves back in with their parents after screwing up their personal life because they are too weak willed to make the right decisions and they crave a "father" figure.

It's no more a jerk move than an older woman going out with and marrying a younger man. Society loves this trope (as seen in a lot of movies and TV shows) but hates it when an older man does it.
Re the Woody/Soon-Yi thing:
Soon-Yi Previn was the adopted daughter of former spouses Mia Farrow and Andre Previn. There was no blood relationship and no legal relationship whatsoever between Woody and Soon-Yi before they got married.
And when Mia accused Woody of molesting their adopted daughter Dylan, who was 7 at the time, her credibility flew out the window. Woody Allen may be many things, but he's no pedophile.
Just wanted to clear that up, in case anyone was still unclear.

I doubt most of them even would know what they were angry about. That would require them to have an opinion of their own rather than just calling each other 'awesome' and seeing who can be the most offensive in a single post.
Not suprising. Woody Allen had already made his love for dictators (and their noses... that prevert) public in one of his "movies" a long time ago.

Why do we even talk about actors? They people make a life living outside of reality.
