This finale proved why I think cabs should NOT be used or allowed for the finale leg, except to maybe to get from the airport to your first task. Cause cabs, and luck of the draw, can kill you. Brent and Caite could have won if their cab hadn't been completely clueless, cause they did good at the tasks, but the luck of the draw gave em a bad cab.

Pretty much whatever place they were running in during this final leg is how it turned out in the end, no surprises really how it turned out. Did you see the lesbians at the end? Heh, they just can't let it go, they were beat and are so bitter.

The brothers just piss me off; that one cries all the time and his brother keeps saying that he's only doing this for his brother, like the race was some sort of Make A Wish program.
I was rooting for the Cowboys, they ran the race the right way and didn't melt down or screw anyone over. I don't think that the brothers little antic at the beginning of the episode really affected the outcome of the race, but it just goes to show that they are just a couple of douche bags. Smart move talking the stewardess to let them sit in first class though.

The lesbians at the end were hilarious, the one seemed truly embarassed when the other one started going off on Caite. Caite's final response was great.

Just a cut and paste job!

I missed the first half, but the ending was kind of cool. I knew they were milking the brother's taxi cab troubles, so I figured they would win anyway.

The one surprise was that the brothers actually took notes. It's like the first team to actually think of just recording everything on the off chance they make it to the final leg.

But the coup de grace was the finale with the lesbians... even the blonde one was embarrassed.
I swear that's the first time they've shown a blown up like. It was both painful to watch and hilarious at the same time.

I was very happy with the outcome. I've liked Dan and Jordan since the beginning and I was hoping they would win. I wouldn't have minded Jet and Cord winning either. I was also happy that they finished in my favorite city, SF. It made me a little homesick seeing all the footage of it, even though I don't live that far away from it now.

The brothers were actually very impressive this leg (with the exception of the line-cutting craziness). I was actually rooting for them by the end. They outplayed the cowboys on that last leg. There's really no question.

I agree that Brent and Caite got screwed by their cab driver, and Caite came off looking well in the closing moments of the season.

I had an issue with he brothers being moved to first class. The rules state contestants must fly in economy class. I know they did not buy first-class tickets, but asking to be moved up there is not legit either in my book. I really expected Phil to give them a 30-minute penalty (which would had been real fun)

And I do think it affected the outcome - they were just ahead of the cowboys at the end. If they had been trapped in the back of the plane, the time difference may have made the outcome change.

However - they showed real smarts having written notes for the memory challenge at the end.

Cowboys can go out with heads held high. They played a clean game and had fun (reminded me of the hippies from previous season).

The rules state they cannot BUY first-class tickets. There's nothing prohibiting them from flying first class, as long as they haven't bought it. They were well within the rules.

Kind of a dull final leg- the most entertaining part of the show was the little bitchfest at the end between Caite and the lesbians. Phil had this deer-in-headlights look when they were going at it- seemed like he wasn't sure what to do.

I hoped that the cowboys would win. After that first leg of the race (when, while heading to Chile, they converted their dollars into Brazilian currency), I figured the Cowboys would be out early on. But they got the hang of things pretty quickly and ran a good race.

Seriously? I thought Caite handled everything very well once they got into the stadium. Yes, she was pretty frustrating throughout the first part of the leg (and they did get screwed over by a non-player), but she was classy in the end. The lesbians just looked like uberbitches. They got outplayed. They needed to deal with it.

Disappointed the cowboys didn't win, but it did seem very important to Jordan, so good for them. I did love what the cowboys were doing to Dan and Jordan at ILM. That was funny stuff.

I was glad Miss Teen airhead lost, though. She kept talking all that smack about proving she aint dumb and in the end she proved she is dumb as a box of rocks by leaving her money behind.

Near the end I was hoping the cowboys would be running into the stadium, but when I saw the two gay brothers run in, I turned the tv off and went and did something else. I didnt care about this race anymore after that.

That was me a couple of seasons ago when it was three way between the Chinese douche bag and his sister(who was actually nice)Deafy Deaferson who can do anything anyone else can do(except when he COULDN'T and had to get his harried mum to help)and the two bitches.

When it came to the final episode we just simply did not watch because I COULD NOT stand the thought of ANY of them winning.

Only episode of the Amazing Race I have NEVER watched.


As for this week - I was LIVID when the gay brothers cut in front of my two darling cowboys. My partner actually had to ask me to keep it down, for the sake of the neighbours! This ep was boring because you could pretty much see all the way through the gay brothers would win.

Personally I ALSO feel they should have had a time penalty for flying fist class. The image of them waiting for thirty minutes at the finish line, both crying and wanting to hit something while my cowboys run in would have been PRICELESS!!!

As it was I was kinda pissed off with Jet(or Cord)because he SAW the other guy turning his head and did not think to do it himself. THAT was dumb and basically cost them the race.

All in all though, I was EXTREMELY GLAD the Disgustingtons didn't even come in the top two. And did we REALLY need a closeup of his boggly eyes? They are bad enough as it is. We don't need a close up!!! It was awesome seeing him SO pissed off at the finish line, too. As for her protestations of being SO smart(S-M-R-T )for the last couple of weeks it was hilarious seeing them lose so badly.

Oh and for all your FYI, the ad campaign for this season recently in Australia showed the youtube footage of the bimbo and her stammering about "EYE-raq" and "such as" and the voice over was something like,

"This girl hardly knows about her OWN country....how's she going to go around the world?!?"

LOL! I wouldnt of had a problem with the lesbians winning because they were more manly than the gay brothers. I couldnt stand them. I got to give it to the cowboys, I would have punched them out once they cut in line.
