They were just talking like in the premiere. But this time the roles were reversed.

I'm not sure when it happened, but at the start of the season I mostly cared about the on-island stuff, and my attention waned a bit during the flash-sidewayses. Now it seems to be the reverse - the on island stuff is a bit repetitive and not holding my interest, while I'm more and more involved in the sideways world. Weird.
