Magic 8 Ball movie planned

I've no idea whether this really fits in SF/F, but it's got Magic in the title.

If you want more proof Hollywood has run out of ideas: apparently another toy-based movie is in the works, this one based on a thing from the 1980s.

Frankly the best "Magic 8 Ball" story has already been done as an episode of iCarly where Spencer decides to blindly follow the directions of an 8 Ball-like item and ends up marrying an ostrich or something like that ...
