All of the entries are excellent, but there are six that I like a lot, so this was a hard decision for me too.

That is a bit weird.

I can tell you why I didn't vote for your entry though:
The background, the winged woman and the fire look as if they come from very different sources; one looks like an oil painting another looks like a crayon drawing and the last as if it's from a photo. Add that the border isn't very well made (or is it a cropping that just wasn't close enough?).
The resulting avatar just isn't very pleasing to the eye.

Why is it weird? We only have four votes so obviously some people are going to be left out. Haggis and think don't have any votes yet, but there's nothing wrong with their avatars.

I think it is a bit weird because tastes vary greatly when it comes to avatars, some worn on this board are brilliant pieces of art and others are horrendously bad... All things considered IAL's avatar is not a bad one!

Well like I said, neither are Haggis's or think's but they don't have any votes.

If it was a contest with only five entries, then yes it would be weird, in a contest with this many entries there are always going to be good entries that get missed simply because they are 5th or 6th on everyone's list.
