Iron Man 2: Build up till release DISCUSSION

As far as building onto anything it's apparent they are building up the MCU(Marvel Comics Universe, Kevin Friege used that somewhere) on screen.

that was the Marvel Cinematic Universe, which he mentioned in a SuperHeroHype interview

Anymore? I haven't cared about prudish critics and their opinions, well ever. We so rarely agree. I know what I like and watch enough reviews to make a decison for myself, some(maybe not you) though are lazy and just let others tell them UP or DOWN.

I think that's very narrow-minded thinking. I really enjoy reading what critics have to say about films,

I didn't say I didn't read them sometimes, they just hold no sway over me. Which is what you essentially said in the rest of your post.

LOL, mistype there, so used to typing Comics for that 'C' that I went on autopilot. Cinematic, yes, thank you for that correction!:techman:

Seriously that should be Rumiko ... but that was pretty cool. Although kinda reminds me of Google Goggles or one of the Augmented Reality apps for my Android phone

I laughed at the many recurrences of the name "Hammer" during my second viewing of the movie!

Stay until the end of the credits for a wicked nerdgasm!

"Sir, we found it!"

;)

I haven't seen the movie, but let me guess:

Cap's frozen body?

There was an awesome scene in Stark's lab with Agent Coulson when

Captain America's unfinished shield. When Coulson asks Tony if he knows "what this is" the tone in his voice leads me to believe that Coulson knows

Cool movie overall. A little bit slow in the middle. RDJ just owned every scene he was in. The cast overall was pretty great. The whole SHIELD organization felt a little out of place from the rest of the movie. Their operatives felt a little more "comic bookey" than the rest of the movie. Scarlett Johansson was a good addition to the cast although some of her posing during her fight scenes was a tad weird.

Thumbs up for Iron Man 2!

To a current comics fan, that may have been false foreshadowing of H.A.M.M.E.R., the "Evil SHIELD" ruling the Marvel world now run by the Green Goblin.
